We're here with the executive director of Bluetooth SIG, Dr. Mike Foley.
Hello.
Nice to have you here with us.
Thank you. I appreciate the opportunity.
I was just able to give Dr. Foley a live demo of ZOMM for the first time. First time you've ever seen it.
It is the first time. Yep.
What did you think of it?
Truly amazing. Very innovative product.
Yeah?
Yeah. I mean it's amazing to see you know, when we were first thinking of Bluetooth we weren't thinking about cases like this. But you were able to take the technology and use it in a way that's so creative that we never thought about. And that I think that's excellent. I think that just is a testament to all the members of the SIG that created a great technology that you're able to do that.
Yes , yes, and without the Bluetooth SIG, our dreams wouldn't have come true. Again, Dr. Mike Foley, he is the executive director. We thought so much of him, I started doing research on Bluetooth SIG, and I found where the name came from and it came from King Harald I, correct?
Yep.
Could you address that just for a second and tell everybody. Herald Blatand, a Danish king back in approximately eleven hundred, united Scandinavian countries for the first time. And the thought that Bluetooth will be a technology that unites the mobile phone and computer industry.
And of course since then it's brought it out beyond that as well. But that was the concept in how the play on words came to be. And Blatand in English is Bluetooth.
Okay, so the name actually was Bluetooth,
So given that, we have designed the King Harald 1 award and I'd like to present to Dr. Mike Foley for making our dreams come true with ZOMM. This award says the King Harald One award is presented to Dr. Mike Foley, executive director of Bluetooth SIG on behalf of ZOMM. On this seventh day of January, in the year 2010.
What is today's date, maybe a little, is today the 7th? We were supposed to do this 2 days ago, OK, sorry.
Okay , the 10th... let's pursue in publishing Bluetooth specifications and administering the qualification program for Bluetooth technology and architecting Bluetooth's long term future uses for the betterment and enjoyment of society as a whole. We'd like for ZOMM to present this King Herald one award to Dr. Mike Foley.
Very good. Yes, thank you.
Any closing words?
Excellent and I really appreciate this, I'm honored to receive this. And again see a company like ZOMM to be able to use the technology in new and creative ways. And really makes my job worthwhile. Thank you very much, I appreciate it. Thank you guys.
Thank you.
OK.
